This week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown took place from the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana and the show was action packed. Prior to the show the action kicked off with two NXT stars when Johnny Gargano picked up a win over Kyle O’Reilly in a dark match.
At this point in time it’s not clear if WWE is considering Johnny Gargano and Kyle O’Reilly for main roster call-ups, but it’s worth noting that Gargano’s contract is set to expire on December 3, and O’Reilly’s contract is also reportedly set to expire in December.
Amari Miller also defeated Dakota Kai in a dark match before SmackDown, and Drew McIntyre teamed up with The Viking Raiders to defeat The Bloodline after the show went off the air.
