This week’s episode of WWE Monday Night Raw is set to take place from the Huntington Center in Toledo, OH and it will be the final Raw before the Royal Rumble pay-per-view on Saturday.
PWInsider is reporting that NXT stars LA Knight and Roderick Strong are backstage for the tapings tonight. There’s currently no word on if they will be used tonight, but the two stars did face off in a dark match which saw Knight defeat Strong prior to SmackDown last week.
Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne have also been used at recent TV tapings, and they’ve also appeared on Main Event. It’s not clear at this point in time of Knight, Strong, Dunne or Ciampa are being considered for main roster call ups.
WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight’s show:
- WWE Champion Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley set to meet in the ring for Royal Rumble weigh-in
- The Miz aims to throw Maryse a birthday extravaganza
- Alpha Academy to test RK-Bro’s mental aptitude in Academic Challenge
