On Saturday night the stars of AEW hit the ring in Jacksonville, FL for Fight For The Fallen. The Evolve 10th anniversary special also happened to air live on the WWE Network on Saturday night.
After The Young Bucks defeated Cody and Dustin Rhodes in the main event of AEW Fight For The Fallen, Cody got on the mic and cut a passionate promo about the promotion.
He told fans that, “you can’t counter-program what All Elite wrestling is doing,” and the comment got a lot of people talking.
One of the people who seems to be talking about Cody’s comment is none other than NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler.
The NXT star recently took to Twitter to say that WWE pay-per-views are planned months in advance, and she also decided to explain the definition of “counter” when she posted the following:

Tensions between AEW and WWE seem to be heating up, so the next few months should be interesting to say the least.
