NXT has grown a lot over the last few years, but there’s no denying that it’s still exciting to see talents get called up from NXT to join the Raw or SmackDown roster.
PWInsider reported that current NXT Champion Karrion Kross was in attendance for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, and he faced off against Dolph Ziggler in a dark match that was taped for future evaluation. There was also said to be talk of bringing Karrion Kross & Scarlett back next week to do promos.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that as soon as Karrrion Kross signed with WWE the idea was that it would only be a matter of time before he joined the main roster.
It’s also being reported that WWE officials like Karrion Kross, and they expectation is that he will get a decent chance on the WWE main roster.
At this point it’s not clear when Kross might be making his main roster debut. Stay tuned for updates.
