Over the last few weeks fans have seen several NXT stars get called up to the WWE main roster, and a number of the names called up have debuted with new gimmicks.
Recently it was reported that WWE officials were considering making LA Knight a manager on the main roster due to his highly acclaimed mic work, and this week LA Knight appeared in a dark segment prior to this week’s episode of SmackDown when he worked as a manager for Mace.
According to fans in attendance LA Knight cut a promo stating that he was creating Knight Model Management and that Mace is his first client.
Mace defeated Erik of Viking Raiders with a leaping leg lariat after LA Knight caused a distraction to help his client pick up the win. PWInsider is reporting that the segment was meant to more or less be a tryout for Knight in a managerial role. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
