The AEW Revolution pay-per-view aired live from Los Angeles over the weekend and the show gave fans plenty to talk about. Adam Page challenged MJF for the AEW World Championship in a Texas Death match that main evented the show, and MJF picked up the victory to retain the title.

Fightful Select is reporting that AEW sources indicated to Sean Ross Sapp that Adam Page is set to take time off from AEW TV. It’s not clear at this point in time if he will be taking time off immediately, or if he could appear on Dynamite in the coming weeks.

One way or another the current plan is for Adam Page to take time off. One AEW source noted that the length of his time off has not been determined, so it could be weeks or months.

There’s been a lot of talk about what’s next for Adam Page following Revolution as he announced ahead of time that he would never challenge for the AEW World Championship again if he lost at the pay-per-view.

During the AEW Revolution post-show media scrum Tony Khan addressed the stipulation when he said, “It’s the same thing with Cody, it was a gentleman’s handshake with both of them. They both came to me and said, ‘I want to put this at stake.’ And both of them, I told them, ‘That sounds f*****g nuts, dude.’ Both of them really wanted to do it. And in both cases I said, ‘Are you sure?’ And they both said, ‘Yeah.’ So it is an agreement we made. Second time it’s happened. [Page] is somebody that’s known for being a man of his word, and we made an agreement. So it’s a verbal contract.”
