This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite focused on the fallout from the Revolution pay-per-view, and it featured some interesting moments to say the least. Orange Cassidy successfully defended his AEW All Atlantic Championship against Jay Lethal and it was later announced that he will defend the belt against Jeff Jarrett next week. Tony Khan also confirmed that the All Atlantic Championship will be known as the AEW International Championship moving forward.
House of Black managed to win the AEW World Trios Championship at Revolution, and it was confirmed that next week they will defend the belts against The Elite and Jericho Appreciation Society in Winnipeg.
MJF had a big night on Sunday as he managed to retain the AEW World Championship after defeating Bryan Danielson in the main event. However, PWInsider is reporting that MJF was not backstage at Dynamite this week. It’s also being reported that MJF was spotted in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
It doesn’t seem like anyone can stop MJF’s momentum at the moment as he is at the top of the mountain in AEW. One way or another it will be interesting to see who steps up next to challenge him for the AEW World Championship.
