The annual Royal Rumble pay-per-view is only a few days away, and as always there’s a lot of talk about who might show up at the event. It was recently reported that WWE was discussing the idea of getting an unexpected forbidden door entrant for the men’s Royal Rumble, but it’s not clear at this point in time who that might be, or if it’s actually going to happen.
During a recent interview with Good Morning Washington current AEW World Champion Adam Page was asked about a possible Royal Rumble appearance, and he joked that he shouldn’t be ruled out, but it’s probably not going to happen.
“Uhh no, probably won’t be in the Royal Rumble. Don’t rule me out but um, but probably not. I like to keep my Saturdays open to be with family, it’s a better use of my time.”
Despite rumors of an unexpected forbidden door entrant it was recently reportedly that there will be no AEW involvement at the Royal Rumble. The Royal Rumble pay-per-view will air live on Saturday, January 29th. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
