Top AEW Star Gets Their Hair Cut On AEW Dynamite

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the last episode of the year and Samoa Joe put his TNT Championship on the line against Wardlow in the main event. Earlier in the night Wardlow was being interviewed backstage and he was attacked by Samoa Joe with a pipe.

Samoa Joe made his entrance for the main event but when when Wardlow’s music hit he was nowhere to be found. Joe got on the mic and said that Wardlow has stage fright and that’s when Wardlow started limping out to the ring. He attacked Joe and then the match kicked off.

Throughout the match Wardlow sold a knee injury. Wardlow powerbombed Joe out of the corner, and he went for another powerbomb, but his leg gave out. Joe then took him down and made Wardlow pass out when he applied the Coquina Clutch.

After the match Samoa Joe hit Wardlow with the TNT Title. Joe looked for weapons under the ring and he pulled scissors out of a toolbox. Samoa Joe then hit the referee with a headbutt and cut Wardlow’s ponytail off with scissors. Joe held up Wardlow’s hair and the TNT Title when Darby Allin’s music hit. Darby attacked Joe from behind with the skateboard as the fans chanted for him to end the show.
