Tony Khan Reacts To Triple H Taking Over WWE Creative

WWE has been going through some major changes as of late with Triple H taking over creative and Stephanie McMahon becoming co-CEO with Nick Khan. With Vince McMahon gone and a new regime in power there’s been a lot of speculation regarding former WWE stars who worked with Triple H and their level of interest in possibly returning to the company someday.

Tony Khan recently had positive things to say about the behind the scenes changes in WWE on Busted Open Radio, and he also addressed the idea that some wrestlers could be looking to jump ship.

“I think (the changes are) going to be really positive for the fans overall. I am a little amused that changes in the competition, people think it’s going to magically change the landscape. I have got people signed her for five years and people think that just because the CEO, Chairman, those head of creative, that those people changed in the competition, people I have five-year contracts with are going to magically switch teams? Good luck with that.”

Khan also confirmed that fans shouldn’t expect to see names such as Adam Cole and Malakai Black in WWE anytime soon as both stars are signed with AEW through 2027.

“Just because these guys had some success under a previous administration somewhere else, they are not magically going to be going anywhere. Those are two people I really like just as examples of people who have worked under that previous administration. I’m very amused by that. That’s a narrative I see so-called wrestling writers pushing every day. It’s pretty amusing.”
