WWE released a number of surprising names this year, and the wrestling world was shocked when the company announced that former Universal Champion Bray Wyatt had been let go. Fans have been talking about Wyatt’s next destination since the moment his release was announced, and there’s been speculation that he could be AEW bound.
AEW President Tony Khan was asked about Bray Wyatt possibly joining the company during an appearance on WFAN’s Moose & Maggie show, and Khan claimed that he has not talked the former WWE star.
“He’s a great wrestler, and I have to be honest, we haven’t talked at all. I’ve known him in personal life, but in reality, we haven’t talked. But you never know.”
At this point it’s not clear when fans will see Bray Wyatt on TV again, or if he will end up in AEW. It’s been reported that Impact Wrestling is interested in bringing him in, but a deal has not been signed. Stay tuned for updates as they become available.
