AEW celebrated its fifth anniversary this year and over the course of the last five years the company has had an abundance of big moments. Jon Moxley is one name who’s been a part of those moments as he’s often been featured as one of the top stars in the company. Last month Moxley won the AEW World Championship for the fourth time in his career, and he’s set to defend the belt against Orange Cassidy at the AEW Full Gear pay-per-view.
Tony Khan recently spoke to CHGO Sports about Jon Moxley’s history with All Elite Wrestling, and he also declared that Moxley is AEW’s greatest star ever.
“Jon Moxley is AEW’s greatest star ever. Jon Moxley’s the four-time world champion. At the beginning of the launch of AEW, we ended our first-ever show with Jon Moxley standing atop the poker chips at Double or Nothing, and it’s been that way since.
He’s a four-time champion, he’s a force in AEW, and I really think that this match [against Orange Cassidy] is gonna be an awesome, awesome world title fight.”
