Ricochet is the talk of the wrestling world at the moment as it was recently reported that the former Intercontinental Champion gave his notice to WWE and let them know that he intends to part ways with the company when his contract expires this summer. It’s also been reported that Ricochet is expected to join AEW once he becomes a free agent.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Tony Khan was asked to share his thoughts on Ricochet and he said, “If it’s okay, I’d rather not get into wrestlers that still work for someone else.”
It was reported ahead of Monday Night Raw this week that Ricochet was likely being written off TV. During the show Bron Breakker ended up throwing Ricochet into a production truck before hitting him with a powerslam onto a car.
Recently Will Ospreay publicly praised Ricochet while criticizing the way that he’s been booked in WWE, so it seems that the door is open for another Ospreay vs. Ricochet match if Ricochet does indeed join AEW.
