The Bloodline storyline has been going for years now and obviously things are going well as Roman Reigns is quickly approaching 1,000 days as champion. Reigns has successfully defended his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship against some of the biggest names in the industry and there’s no denying that The Usos have helped him secure many of his victories.
Tommy Dreamer recently discussed Jimmy and Jey’s role in The Bloodline on Busted Open Radio and he praised the former tag team champions for being an important part of the storyline.
“I don’t think this Bloodline storyline would’ve lasted without the Usos,” Dreamer said. “They have been such a key cog to that entire story. I don’t think we’d even have the reign of Roman Reigns without the Usos.”
Dreamer also compared The Usos to the Four Horseman, but he took things one step further when he said that he feels The Bloodline has surpassed the Horsemen.
“I feel [they’ve] played their role better than when the Four Horsemen were going through towns. I feel The Bloodline has far surpassed that…I looked at them like they were four individuals that were all together as a group. But when I look at this Bloodline, I just look at it totally different.”
The Usos lost the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship at WrestleMania 39 when they were defeated by Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, but they will be getting their rematch this Friday on SmackDown. Stay tuned for updates.
