Impact Rebellion night 2 took place on Tuesday night, and during the main event the TNA World Heavyweight Championship returned.
Original plans for the main event called for Impact World Champion Tessa Blanchard to defend her title against Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards, but due to the coronavirus pandemic that didn’t happen.
Michael Elgin declared that he should be the Impact World Champion by forfeit, but he was interrupted by Moose who brought back the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Hernandez then came out and interrupted, and a triple threat match was set up for the belt.
In the end Moose won the match and the title.
There’s currently no word on how the company plans to handle having two world titles moving forward.
