Rey Mysterio Jr. is a hot commodity in the wrestling world at the moment and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that TNA recently attempted to sign Mysterio. Their report mentions that both Dixie Carter and John Gaburick told Rey Mysterio that they could get his merchandise in several retail outlets and they were using that as a selling point. He was also reportedly told that he could work anywhere he wanted on days off from television tapings.
The Wrestling Observer also mentioned that it’s much more likely that Rey will sign with Lucha Underground. It’s been rumored for a while now that Rey would be making his way to Lucha Underground and Alberto El Patron has hinted at it several times in recent interviews.
One way or another we will just have to wait and see. Where would you rather see Rey work, TNA or Lucha Underground?
