WrestlingInc.com is reporting that TNA has received an offer from Discovery Network’s VELOCITY channel. The channel is currently available in 48 million homes and is in HD only.
Their report also mentions that the rights fee is only one quarter of what TNA currently gets with Spike TV. In order for the deal to work, TNA would have to find another valuable income stream. TNA is said to be disappointed in the offer but hope that it opens up the door for new prospective networks to negotiate.
