With WWE SmackDown going live on Tuesday nights July 19 it’s been rumored that TNA Impact Wrestling could be moving back to Thursdays.
TNA confirmed the rumor earlier tonight when they announced that Impact will indeed be moving back to Thursdays on July 21, but that’s not all! The show will also be moving to an earlier time slot on POP TV as it will now be starting at 8 PM instead of 9 PM.
Impact Wrestling got a nice boost in the ratings this week thanks to all the hype behind The Final Deletion. TNA will no doubt be looking to keep that momentum going next week when TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley puts his title on the line in a Champion vs. Champion against Eddie Edwards where the X-Division Title will also be on the line.
You can check out the official announcement from TNA about Impact’s big move to Thursday nights along with a few reactions from members of the TNA roster as well.
