TNA Confirms Awesome Kong Was Sent Home From The UK Tour Following An Incident With Reby Sky

It’s now been confirmed by TNA officials that Awesome Kong has indeed been sent home from TNA’s UK tour due to an incident with Matt Hardy’s wife Reby Sky. PWInsider originally reported that Kong wasn’t happy about the fact that Reby Sky was sharing a dressing room with the rest of the Knockouts and she removed her bag from the locker room. The incident escalated when Sky then tried to go back into the locker room but was blocked by Awesome Kong.

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to TNA for comment and they responded with the following statement:

“Prior to the Impact Wrestling TV taping at the Manchester Arena, Kia Stevens was involved in an incident involving Rebecca Hardy. Subsequently, Kia was removed from the tour and returned to the United States. The matter is being reviewed to determine if any additional disciplinary action will be taken.”

It’s also noted in the same report that Reby Sky called Awesome Kong a “f*cking maniac” at one point and that set her off. It’s unclear what type of disciplinary action TNA will take moving forward. But it’s worth noting that Awesome Kong was previously released from the company following an incident with Bubba the Love Sponge back in 2010.
