TNA talents under long-term deals are being paid on schedule and those with existing older deals are still getting their regular base check. Most of the new contracts were signed with small base pay or none at all. Those deals were largely based on the number of dates a talent worked. A lot of wrestlers are being forced to take indie bookings because TNA has no more dates scheduled this year except for Bound For Glory.
In the past, TNA talents have had to contact the office to get indie dates approved but that is no longer the case. Talents have been told that they can take any indie dates they can get but they can’t appear on TV, pay-per-view or iPPV.
