TJ Perkins Retains The WWE Cruiserweight Title At Clash Of Champions

TJ Perkins won the CWC a few weeks ago, and he become the new Cruiserweight Champion in the process. Perkins defended his title for the first time against Brian Kendrick at Clash of Champions, and it was Perkins who walked out with the gold.

Perkins and Kendrick put on an interesting match, and Perkins dominated the contest early on. Kendrick eventually got the upper hand and he hit Perkins with Sliced Bread but he kicked out.

Brian Kendrick then tried to follow up with the Captain’s Hook, but Perkins set Brian Kendrick up with a fireman’s carry, followed by a knee to the head, then he locked in the kneebar to make Kendrick tap.

After the match Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins shook hands and hugged. Kendrick then turned on Perkins and hit him with a headbutt.
