This year’s TLC pay-per-view is set to air live on the WWE Network on December 4, and several matches were confirmed for the pay-per-view on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
The Miz successfully defended his IC Title against Kalisto on SmackDown this week, and after the match Dolph Ziggler attacked him. Backstage Miz demanded a match with Dolph Ziggler, and it was announced that they will face off one final time in a ladder match at TLC before going their separate ways.
Nikki Bella also confronted Carmella backstage and told her that Daniel Bryan has set up a no disqualification match for TLC. Becky Lynch is also set to defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Alexa Bliss.
American Alpha won a Tag Team Turmoil match with a Tag Team Title shot at TLC on the line. However, Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt appeared on the screen after they won, and told American Alpha that they’re coming for them. It was indicated that Tag Team Turmoil will continue. As noted, Randy Orton is set to return next week.
Later on Talking Smack it was announced that a number one contender’s match will take place next week on SmackDown which will see American Alpha face off against Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton.
It was also announced that Baron Corbin will face Kalisto in a Chairs Match.
