On Sunday night the Extreme Rules pay-per-view aired on the WWE Network, and this week’s episode of Raw dealt with the fallout from the show.
Sasha Banks challenged Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship, and the match had a controversial finish which saw Bayley put the referee shirt on after Asuka inadvertently took the referee out with green mist.
Bayley then counted the pin for Sasha Banks and forced the timekeeper to ring the bell.
Sasha Banks showed up on Raw with the red brand’s women’s title on Monday night, and that’s when Stephanie McMahon appeared on the big screen and announced that Banks will face Asuka next week to determine the true champion.
Stephanie also announced that the match can be decided via pinfall, submission, count out, DQ and outside interference.
