If you’ve seen the WrestleMania 35 card, then you’re probably well aware that there are quite a few title matches on the main card.
A few weeks ago it was announced that Samoa Joe would be defending his United States Title against Rey Mysterio, but now it seems that the status of the match has been put in doubt.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that the status of the match is up in the air because Rey Mysterio suffered an ankle injury during his match with Baron Corbin Monday night on Raw.
The injury is reportedly legit, and due to the injury Rey had to be pulled from his scheduled match on SmackDown this week.
It’s unclear at this time if Rey will be ready to go for Mania, or if WWE will be changing plans.
