The Extreme Rules pay-per-view is set to air on the WWE Network next month, and this week on SmackDown Live another title match was booked for the pay-per-view. James Ellsworth made his way to the ring and called out Asuka, but it was Paige who answered and she announced that Carmella will defend her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Asuka at Extreme Rules.
James Ellsworth then told Paige that she only came to the ring because she wants to go on a date with him.
Paige then booked a date, but told him the date is actually more of a match, and that he’ll be facing Asuka one on one next week on SmackDown Live.
