Now that the Royal Rumble has come and gone all eyes are looking ahead to the Elimination Chamber premium live event. The show will continue to set the stage for WrestleMania, and it sounds like a big title match is being considered for the show.
During a recent episode of Sportskeeda’s Backstage Pass Q&A, WrestleVotes noted that there’s been talk of Shinsuke Nakamura defending his WWE United States Championship at Elimination Chamber. However, at this point in time it’s not clear who his opponent could be if WWE does indeed move forward with plans for the title defense.
Shinsuke Nakamura won the United States Championship for the third time in his career when he defeated LA Knight at Survivor Series back in November. He last competed in the 30 man Royal Rumble match earlier this month.
WWE Elimination Chamber will air live on Saturday, March 1st and the current card for the show can be seen below.
