You never know when a WWE talent might get suspended, but earlier this week WWE announced that Robert Roode and Primo Colon had both been suspended for violating the wellness policy.
It’s not clear exactly what was found in their systems, but Roode and Colon will both be sitting on the sidelines for a little while as they were suspended for 30 days.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that original plans for the WWE TLC pay-per-view called for The New Day to defend their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler.
Roode and Ziggler were still scheduled for the match as of last week, but the match was changed due to the suspension. The New Day will now go on to defend their titles against The Revival.
This is the first wellness policy violation for both Robert Roode and Primo Colon.
