WrestleMania 37 is set to take place from Raymond James Stadium next month, and so far only two matches have been officially announced for the card.
Recently on Monday Night Raw Charlotte Flair made it clear that she wants to challenge Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but now it seems that the title match is in question.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Asuka is out of action due to a concussion she suffered after taking a kick from Shayna Baszler. The problem with a concussion is that the timetable for her return is unclear.
It’s possible Asuka could get cleared for WrestleMania, however it’s not a sure thing right now.
It was also noted that WWE counted on Ric Flair being on TV every week through WrestleMania, but obviously plans changed. WWE then decided to go in a different direction by putting Charlotte in a feud with Asuka, but that match is now said to be in jeopardy.
