Back in September the TKO merger was completed and WWE followed up by cutting a number of office employees and talents. Numerous wrestlers were released from the main roster and NXT, and now it looks like a few more releases have been confirmed.
Fightful Select reports that they asked WWE about the NXT status of Alexis Lete, Alivia Ash, Ghi Eburno and others who fans have speculated were released from the company. WWE didn’t officially confirm that they were released back in September, but sources have confirmed that all three have indeed been released.
It’s been a few months since WWE latest round of mass releases and it’s unclear at this point in time if the company has any plans to release more wrestlers in the months to come.
For now it seems that WWE is focused on recruitment as CM Punk recently returned to the company, and it’s rumored that WWE is interested in bringing in Kazuchika Okada.
