It looks like fans could be seeing some AEW departures soon as Lio Rush recently announced that his contract with the company expires on February 14th, and he’s currently accepting booking inquiries.
PWInsider is reporting that while inquiring about All Elite Wrestling contracts that are set to expire there are three names that keep coming up. Marko Stunt is one of the names that keeps coming up, and he hasn’t been used since September of 2021. It’s also worth noting that AEW has dropped the Jurassic Express name for Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy.
Brian Cage is another name that keeps coming up. Cage has not wrestled for AEW since October of 2021, but it’s being said that he had been backstage regularly during that time period.
The third name is Joey Janela who has been with All Elite Wrestling since the formation of the company. Janela recently faced off against Eddie Kingston on AEW Dark. Janela recently confirmed to Fightful that his deal is up in May of 2022.
Stay tuned for more updates on AEW contracts as they become available.
