All Elite Wrestling is constantly adding new names to the roster, but we’ve seen some notable departures over the last few years, and now it seems that three more names are officially done with the company.
Fightful Select is reporting that Matt Taven, Mercedes Martinez and Alex Abrahantes are no longer with All Elite Wrestling. According to Sean Ross Sapp all three of their contracts with AEW have expired.
Mercedes Martinez made her first appearance on AEW programming in 2019, and she later went on to sign with the company in 2021. Recently Mercedes Martinez announced that 2026 will be her last year as a full-time active wrestler.
Matt Taven debuted with AEW in 2022 when he appeared on the October 14th episode of Rampage alongside Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis. Alex Abrahantes joined the company in 2019 as an on air host and in 2021 he became the manager for The Lucha Brothers and then eventually started acting as the manager for Komander in All Elite Wrestling.
Stay tuned for more updates on AEW departures as they become available.
