For quite some time fans waited to see The Young Bucks and FTR face off, and now the two teams finally work for the same company. The Bucks recently took to Twitter to remind fans that they promised the wrestling community they would face off against FTR someday.
Dax Harwood then responded to the tweet and claimed that The Young Bucks were too afraid to come to them when they were in WWE.
“Thank God we spent thousands of dollars to get out of our contracts to come to your show just to make this happen….because you were always too afraid to come to us.”
It was reported a few months ago that Vince McMahon wanted to repackage FTR as a comedy duo, and photos of the concept art for the new gimmick surfaced online.
Cash Wheeler later confirmed that the designs were “100% real.”
The Young Bucks then posted a photo of themselves dressed up in the outfits Vince McMahon wanted FTR to wear, along with the following caption:
“Well, if we went there, you guys would’ve looked like this…”
