Fans are talking about the Wednesday Night Wars, and in a few weeks NXT will be going head to head with AEW.
Triple H recently talked about NXT’s move to the USA Network during an interview with talkSPORT, and during the interview he noted that there’s no one out there that he would trade the NXT talent for.
“Two hours gives us more opportunity – I look at the roster here and the talent pool I have and I said it yesterday on the call, I wouldn’t trade our roster,” Triple H. “There’s nobody out there I’m like ‘Ooo, man, if I could have that’ – nobody. I don’t care who that is and they can make claims to being the greatest in the world with their four matches a year that are good, great. I wouldn’t trade you. That’s just my opinion. I’m not saying whether that’s right or wrong, I’m just saying that’s what it is.”
Alex McCarthy of talkSPORT recently spoke to The Young Bucks, and when they were asked about the comments they were pretty blunt while sharing their thoughts.
Nick: “It just made me laugh. C’mon… we know you wanted us.”
Matt: “A year ago you were trying to get us all [The Elite]! Don’t act like there was no interest and you wouldn’t trade for us because I know for a fact you would.”
The Bucks also noted that they did watch NXT’s premiere on USA Network on Wednesday.
Nick: “It was a fun show. But 10 weeks from now, those fans might get tired. It happened with IMPACT [doing a show from the same studio].
Matt: “I’m rooting for them, I want them to have a good show. Ours is just going to be better.”
