For weeks now wrestling fans have been trying to figure out who Braun Strowman would pick to be his tag team partner at WrestleMania 34, and he ended up picking a kid named Nicholas out of the crowd.
Nicholas stood on the apron for most of the match, although he did end up tagging in at one point before quickly tagging out after realizing he had made a terrible mistake.
But in the end Nicholas and Strowman won the Raw Tag Team Titles, and now they’re the champions.
Now that Nicholas and Strowman are the champions, they’re going to have to defend the belts, and it seems that The Young Bucks want to set up a dream match, as they took to Twitter to say that they finally have some competition.
Braun Strowman also commented on the big win backstage after the match, and he said that he didn’t really have a plan coming in to WrestleMania.
“Honestly, I didn’t have a plan coming into WrestleMania. I do a lot of thinking and a lot of soul searching in my time back out in the woods while I’m relaxing by myself. Just something in my heart told me this is what I needed to do. So I went in the crowd and picked out this young man, and he helped pull out a victory for both of us at WrestleMania.”
