Sunday was a big night for AEW as Adam Copeland made his debut after the main event of the WrestleDream pay-per-view. The card featured a number of big matches and The Young Bucks managed to secure a shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship when they won a fatal four way match.
It seems that The Young Bucks were also paying close attention to Adam Copeland’s debut as both Matt & Nick Jackson commented on Copeland’s big moment in the latest episode of Being The Elite.
“We’re not the only ones that got a big W tonight. I think the company had a big W. I saw that debut,” Nick Jackson said.
Matt Jackson also commented on Adam Copeland’s AEW debut when he added, “It was really cool seeing Adam Copeland [debut], with his music that we all sang out loud for years.”
Edge noted during the post-show press conference that he would like to face Kenny Omega of The Elite at some point during his AEW run. Whether or not that happens remains to be seen, but Copeland will make his in-ring debut for AEW when he faces Luchasaurus during the October 10 episode of Dynamite.
