This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw emanated from the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida and it was a loaded show. Stephanie Vaquer put her WWE Women’s World Championship on the line, and she successfully defended her title against Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella in a triple threat match.
AJ Styles & Dragon Lee also put their WWE World Tag Team Championship on the line as they defended the belts against The Usos. Ahead of the match Jimmy spoke with Jey in the locker room and asked his brother if he was alright. Jey told Jimmy that nothing has been going right for him, and he doesn’t want to put his brother in a bad spot. Jimmy hyped his brother up and told him he needed him as Jey assured Jimmy that he was alright.
Near the end of the match AJ Styles connected with the Styles Clash, but Jey Uso kicked out as the fans chanted “this is awesome.” He went for the Styles Clash again, but Jimmy stopped it. AJ tried for the Phenomenal Forearm only to get hit with a double superkick from The Usos.
The Usos then hit Dragon Lee with a double superkick followed by the 1D to pick up the victory to become the new WWE World Tag Team Champions. After the match The Usos celebrated in the crowd with the belts as the show went off the air.
