The Usos have been with WWE for quite some time now, and over the course of their career they’ve found success and had numerous tag team title reigns.
Jimmy and Jey Uso are well established at this stage, but at one point they were still trying to find themselves and Randy Orton stepped in.
The former tag team champions recently spoke to D-Von on the Table Talk podcast, and they revealed that Orton offered them some encouragement and advice.
“I remember Randy Orton spitting the realest ‘ish’ my first year when we came in. I remember him saying, ‘You all are going to do good in here. It took me about 6 years to really find out who Randy Orton was. You will find yourselves. Just hang in there, work hard, stay humble and you’ll find yourselves.’ and I remember not knowing what he was talking about, then it resonated on me. Still growing in this business and still learning every day about this business.”
Jimmy Uso is currently out of action due to a knee injury, so unfortunately it doesn’t look like we’ll be seeing The Usos team up again on WWE programming anytime soon.
