As if there weren’t enough reasons for fans to tune into the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27th, it looks like there’s another huge match booked for the big Saudi Arabia event.
We already expect plenty of title matches including a steel cage match for the Universal Title which could very well see Roman Reigns finally win the WWE Universal Title. There will also be an epic 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble match featuring Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Chris Jericho and more.
There was a rumor floating around out there that WWE was trying to get The Undertaker to make the long trip to Saudi Arabia as well and it looks like they finally worked something out because now The Dead Man is now confirmed to be at the big show and he’s in a signature match as well.
The Undertaker will take on Rusev in a Casket Match at the Greatest Royal Rumble event. This is a huge cherry on top of an already loaded show and while it might not make much sense when it comes to the story, it’s still a great position for Rusev to be in considering the huge highlight which will be placed on the Lion Of Bulgaria.
I just wonder if Taker will get a casket with Happy Rusev Day painted on it or if they’ll just go with a standard wooden box. Either way, it’s been a long time since we saw a casket match and after Taker’s great showing at WrestleMania 34 where he schooled John Cena, this casket match will be a lot of fun to watch.
Now it will be even harder for anyone stuck at work or school on April 27th to not find themselves watching the WWE Network instead when this huge show kicks off at noon. Hopefully, this doesn’t mean the Rusev Day gimmick is going to rest in peace, but you never know what can happen in WWE.
