The Undertaker was one of the most dominant Superstars on the WWE roster for decades, but he competed in his last match at WrestleMania 36 when he defeated AJ Styles.
The Deadman and The Phenomenal One faced off in a cinematic style Boneyard Match which received mostly positive reviews from the fans, and Taker later confirmed that he was officially done with in ring competition.
The Undertaker may be done with in ring competition, but he’s not done training, and he recently noted that the “grind never ends” when he posted a workout photo along with the following caption:
“When one door closes another one opens. The game may be over for me, but THE GRIND NEVER ENDS…. #thegrindathletics #workout #workoutmotivation #BSK #getoutside”
After announcing his retirement The Undertaker appeared at the Survivor Series pay-per-view back in November for his Final Farewell. He told fans that it’s time to say goodbye to The Undertaker character, and so far he has yet to return to WWE programming.
In recent months Taker has been reflecting on his career by doing a lot of out of character interviews. Even though The Undertaker is done competing in the ring, he may not be done with WWE entirely, and you can get more on that here.
