Rumors of The Undertaker’s return have been making the rounds for a while now, and The Deadman returned during the Tuwaiq Mountain Trophy Gauntlet Match at Super ShowDown on Thursday.
R-Truth entered first and the match came down to Truth and AJ Styles. The Phenomenal One quickly made R-Truth tap out.
Rey Mysterio’s music hit and AJ Styles smiled as he waited for Rey, but Rey never made his entrance. Rey’s music hit again and he still didn’t come out.
Cameras showed The O.C. beating Rey Mysterio down in the back. Styles grabbed a mic and told the referee to raise his hand as he declared himself the winner. AJ told the timekeeper to ring the bell and he demanded his trophy.
AJ and the referee counted to 10 and waited for Mysterio to come out, then the cameras cut to backstage again and showed Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson being thrown.
Styles started freaking out as The Undertaker’s music hit.
Taker made his signature entrance to the ring, chokeslammed AJ Styles, then pinned him to win the match and the trophy.
After the match Taker slowly made his exit while staring at Styles and the trophy.
