It seems like The Undertaker just can’t retire. I’m sure he will get around to it eventually but at this rate, he’s kept coming back every WrestleMania for years and he might not be done yet. Rumors are he’s set to face John Cena at the Show Of Shows and it might be a good idea to keep an eye out for that to start going down sooner than later. After all, WrestleMania is less than a month away.
But it looks like WWE might be planning to use The Dead Man past April 8th’s event in New Orleans. PW Insider reports The Undertaker is set to appear at the Greatest Royal Rumble event in Saudi Arabia on April 27th.
It’s not specified whether or not Taker will be wrestling at the big show but reports are WWE is pulling out all the stops to have the biggest impact possible for their event in Saudi Arabia.
Other names promoted for the event include John Cena, Triple H, AJ Styles and so many more. It’s going to be a stacked show featuring a 50-man Royal Rumble event. The only question I have is what the winner of the big match might get. After all, the winner of the Royal Rumble in January gets a title shot at WrestleMania and there are only 30 people in that match.
It’s been speculated on Wrestling Observer Live and elsewhere that WWE could very well be airing this event as a special on the WWE Network. It might not air at a convenient time for those in the United States, but the wonderful thing about having an on-demand service is customers can watch it whenever they want. If The Undertaker is a part of the event then I’m sure plenty of fans would want to see that regardless of what he’s doing on the show.
