The Undertaker has been lucky enough to have a very long run with WWE, but now that he’s in the twilight of his career Taker has been booking more non-WWE related appearances.
Ed Young spoke with The Undertaker at the C3 Conference, and The Deadman opened up about many topics, including his relationship with Vince McMahon.
The Deadman worked closely with Vince McMahon for most of his career, and he had nothing but good things to say about the Chairman of the Board, noting that now they’re more friends than anything.
“He’s awesome, you may see him on TV and think ‘man, I do not like that guy’, but he’s awesome,” Undertaker said. “He would never ask anybody to do something he wouldn’t do, and he’s really built an empire on hard work, dedication and energy. When you see that man and see what he puts into it [WWE], you feel like ‘well, I at least have to try and match that.’ He’s an awesome leader, and I call him boss, but I think we’re more friends now than we are employee and company owner.”
Whether or not we’ll see The Undertaker on WWE programming again remains to be seen at this point, as The Deadman is reportedly not on the WrestleMania card right now.
