The Undertaker is without a doubt one of the most iconic wrestlers in the history of WWE, and throughout his career he had some memorable rivalries with some of the biggest names in the business.
During a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast The Undertaker was asked who his two favorite opponents were, and he explained why JBL and Eddie Guerrero are at the top of the list.
“I loved working with JBL and I loved working with Eddie Guerrero. I enjoyed working with him [Guerrero] because he was so smart and he understood psychology so well. I wrestled Eddie, I was a heel, he was a babyface and obviously, there was a huge size discrepancy between Eddie and I. I remember starting a match out and I’m just bouncing him all over the ring. Normally a babyface is not gonna bail, but I bounced around Eddie for about 2 minutes straight and as a babyface, he scoots. This guy has such an understanding of the business. Eddie was just so smart like that.
JBL, we worked so many times together and he was just funny. Always trying to get me to break, that just kind of became a game. If I had one match, if my life or someone else’s life depended on it I would go with Shawn Michaels, but for different reasons I’ll say those 2 guys.”
