For years The Undertaker’s streak was one of the biggest attractions when it came to WrestleMania, but that all came to an end in 2014 when Taker faced Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 30 and The Deadman was finally defeated on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Prior to Brock Lesnar’s victory at WrestleMania 30, The Undertaker went 20-0 at Mania, and Edge ended up becoming one of Taker’s victims when he tried to take down The Phenom at WrestleMania 24.
During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Undertaker noted that Edge was considered to end the streak, but the Rated R Superstar ultimately refused the idea.
While talking about Brock Lesnar ending the streak The Undertaker noted that he didn’t think Brock needed the win when he said, “I don’t think Brock needed it… Brock was a major attraction, he was a star. I don’t know if it enhanced him anymore.”
