All month long WWE has been celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Undertaker. The company even went as far as to dub this past week “Undertaker Week.” The Undertaker has had a legendary career and all of the pieces have fallen perfectly in place for his 25th anniversary.
The Undertaker made his on screen debut with WWE on this exact date, November 22nd, back in 1990. He had previously competed as Kane The Undertaker at a taping for WWF Superstars on November 19th, 1990 before joining the team of Ted DiBiase, The Honky Tonk Man and Greg Valentine at Survivor Series.
Here we are now 25 years later and he is one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up the boots. Many people have come and gone from the WWE over the past 25 years, but The Undertaker is always a constant. It’s hard to imagine where the company would be without him.
The man behind The Undertaker took a gimmick that sounds impossible on paper and he’s managed to turn it into one of the most iconic gimmicks of all time. Today we celebrate 25 years of The Undertaker, a true WWE Hall of Famer and arguably the greatest WWE Superstar of all time.
