Vince McMahon made his shocking return to WWE back in January and he’s been letting the world know that he plans to sell the company. Whether or not the company will actually be sold remains to be seen, but the idea of a potential sale has been a hot topic in the wrestling world.
During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, The Undertaker was asked if he thinks a potential WWE sale would mean that Vince would no longer have control, and he indicated that he thinks Vince would still be involved on some level.
“I would have a really hard time imagining that there wouldn’t be some kind of contingency that he has some type of control there. I don’t think he, even if the company was to get sold, which I don’t have any feeling one way or another whether that’s going to happen or not. I just can’t imagine somebody coming in and buying the company and running it the same way with just the dedication to detail [as] the way it’s run now.”
CNBC recently reported that WWE is expected to meet with potential buyers next month. Stay tuned for more updates on a potential WWE sale as they become available.
