Over the last few years there have been a number of WWE stars who have taken their careers to the next level. There’s no denying that Gunther has established himself as a force to be reckoned with, and it seems that The Undertaker has taken notice of The Ring General.
During a recent episode of his Six Feet Under podcast The Undertaker praised Gunther while explaining why he’s real high on the former Intercontinental Champion.
“Gunther is my guy. Two years ago he had about a 10-minute conversation with my little boy. My little boy is fascinated by him. Colt is fascinated by him. They had a conversation out of the clear blue and he sat there and just talked to him. That’s not why he’s my guy. He’s my guy because he knows how to work and tell a story. I’m real high on him.”
It’s going to be a big summer for Gunther as he earned himself a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam when he won the King of the Ring tournament. As of right now Damian Priest is the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but it was confirmed on Raw this week that Seth Rollins will be challenging for the belt at the Money in the Bank premium live event next month.
