Earlier today it was reported that former WWE Superstar Shad Gaspard went missing on Sunday, May 17 after he and his son were among a group of swimmers who got caught in a rip tide at Venice Beach.
Gaspard’s son was rescued, but a wave crashed down on Gaspard during the rescue and he hasn’t been seen since.
Rescue workers have beemn searching for Shad Gaspard, but Dave Meltzer noted on Twitter that the situation “does not look good” as the search continued this morning and there was no sign of Shad.
Bryan Alvarez elaborated on the situation on Wrestling Observer Live and noted that he was told by a friend of Gaspard’s that the weather had been great for several days, but then it started raining like crazy and the rain has put a damper on the search efforts.
There are mixed reports on whether or not the search is still ongoing, but it “absolute does not look like good news.”
Stay tuned for more updates on the Shad Gaspard situation as they become available.
