The Rock is without a doubt one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling, but it’s been a while since fans have seen The Great One on WWE programming.
It’s been rumored for some time now that WWE wants to book The Rock vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 38 next year, and it looks like the company is making plans for Rock’s return to television.
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast is reporting that current plans call for The Rock to return at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in November, and that three separate sources have confirmed that’s the plan.
At this point in time it’s not known if The Rock will be wrestling at Survivor Series or if he’ll just be making an appearance, but if everything goes according to WWE’s plan then he will be in attendance for the show.
It’s also being reported that Brooklyn will be the location for Survivor Series as WWE wants a big crowd in attendance for The Rock’s return. The date for the show has yet to be revealed.
