The Rock has shaken things up in recent weeks as he returned to seemingly challenge Roman Reigns to a match on the Grandest Stage of Them All, but everything changed at the WrestleMania press conference when Cody Rhodes chose Roman to be his opponent for WWE’s Show of Shows.
The Great One has since turned heel and he officially joined The Bloodline during last week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Triple H recently confirmed that fans won’t be seeing The Rock at Elimination Chamber on Saturday, but he will be back sooner than later as WWE announced that The Rock will appear on SmackDown on March 1.
With Roman Reigns set to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania there’s currently no word on how The Rock will be used at the show. A tag team match featuring The Rock & Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes & Seth Rollins is rumored for the event, but so far no official announcements have been made.
Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins will be appearing on the Grayson Waller Effect at Elimination Chamber on Saturday, so it will be interesting to see what they have to say.
